Based on our experience investing in and selling tech companies, we advised the client to transform from a manufacturing and engineering firm to a software-as-a-service business to ensure more regular cash flow and thus make the company more valuable to investors.

Having worked with many startups where cash is often tight, we helped the client feel more informed, confident and in control of their business’ finances through proper budgeting and forecasting.

By reporting on actual spend against forecasts, we helped the client to micro-manage cash flow during periods when it was an issue. We used tools including Xero, Live Plan, Fathom and Float to help with this, which enabled us to streamline the cash flow process and provide real-time information.
